I am captivated by the extensive use of sky, land and sea and the tranquillity of being immersed in nature as the light, weather, and seasons change. 

As a self-taught textile artist, I'm always curious to explore different techniques. I start by sketching and painting, then layering hand-dyed natural fabrics and fibres using a needle punch machine to create background and texture. To add details, I include expressive hand embroidery stitches and free-motion drawing with my trusty Bernina!

My goal is to find ways of working that reflect the essence of the natural world around me.

I studied initially at Winchester School of Art and then undertook my degree in Public Art and Design at Chelsea College of Arts, London.
